About this gene: Cellular senescence is a hallmark of tumor suppression and tissue aging. Senescent cells contain domains of heterochromatin, called senescence-associated heterochromatin foci, that repress proliferation-promoting genes. The UBN1 protein binds to proliferation-promoting genes and is required for SAHF formation, enhancing methylation of histone H3.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
