SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SUMO1 (small ubiquitin like modifier 1, also called GMP1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SUMO1 qPCR Primer Set – small ubiquitin like modifier 1
Also known as: DAP1, GMP1, OFC10, PIC1, SMT3, SMT3C, SMT3H3, UBL1
About this gene: SUMO1 encodes a protein that belongs to the SUMO protein family. However, unlike ubiquitin which targets proteins for degradation, this protein is involved in a variety of cellular processes, such as nuclear transport, transcriptional regulation, apoptosis, and protein stability. The SUMO1 gene product is not active until the last four amino acids of the carboxy-terminus have been cleaved off.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7341; HGNC ID: HGNC:12502; UniProt: P63165; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003352.8; Chromosome location: 2q33.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
