SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human UBE3A (ubiquitin protein ligase E3A) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human UBE3A qPCR Primer Set – ubiquitin protein ligase E3A
Also known as: ANCR, AS, E6-AP, EPVE6AP, HPVE6A, PIX1
About this gene: UBE3A encodes a E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase, part of the ubiquitin protein degradation system. This imprinted gene is maternally expressed in brain and biallelically expressed in other tissues. Maternally inherited deletion of UBE3A causes Angelman Syndrome, characterized by severe motor and intellectual retardation, ataxia, hypotonia, epilepsy, absence of speech, and characteristic facies.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7337; HGNC ID: HGNC:12496; UniProt: Q05086; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_130839.5; Chromosome location: 15q11.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
