Human UBE2G1 qPCR Primer Set – ubiquitin conjugating enzyme E2 G1

Also known as: E217K, UBC7, UBE2G

About this gene: The modification of proteins with ubiquitin is an important cellular mechanism for targeting abnormal or short-lived proteins for degradation. Ubiquitination involves at least three classes of enzymes: ubiquitin-activating enzymes, or E1s, ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes, or E2s, and ubiquitin-protein ligases, or E3s. UBE2G1 belongs to the E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family and catalyzes the covalent attachment of ubiquitin to other proteins.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7326; HGNC ID: HGNC:12482; UniProt: P62253; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003342.5; Chromosome location: 17p13.2

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
