Human U2AF1 qPCR Primer Set – U2 small nuclear RNA auxiliary factor 1
Also known as: FP793, RN, RNU2AF1, U2AF35, U2AFBP
About this gene: U2AF1 belongs to the splicing factor SR family of genes. U2 auxiliary factor, comprising a large and a small subunit, is a non-snRNP protein required for the binding of U2 snRNP to the pre-mRNA branch site. U2AF1 encodes a small subunit which plays a critical role in both constitutive and enhancer-dependent RNA splicing by directly mediating interactions between the large subunit and proteins bound to the enhancers.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7307; HGNC ID: HGNC:12453; UniProt: Q01081; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006758.3; Chromosome location: 21q22.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
