SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TXNRD1 (thioredoxin reductase 1, also called TR) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TXNRD1 qPCR Primer Set – thioredoxin reductase 1
Also known as: GRIM-12, TR, TR1, TRXR1, TXNR, TXNR1
About this gene: The TXNRD1 protein belongs to the pyridine nucleotide-disulfide oxidoreductase family, and belongs to the thioredoxin system. Three thioredoxin reductase isozymes are found in mammals. TrxRs are selenocysteine-containing flavoenzymes, which reduce thioredoxins, as well as other substrates, and play a key role in redox homoeostasis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7296; HGNC ID: HGNC:12437; UniProt: Q16881; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001093771.3; Chromosome location: 12q23.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
