Human TXNIP qPCR Primer Set – thioredoxin interacting protein
Also known as: ARRDC6, EST01027, HHCPA78, THIF, VDUP1
About this gene: TXNIP encodes a thioredoxin-binding protein that belongs to the alpha arrestin protein family. Thioredoxin is a thiol-oxidoreductase that is a major regulator of cellular redox signaling which protects cells from oxidative stress. The TXNIP protein inhibits the antioxidative function of thioredoxin resulting in the accumulation of reactive oxygen species and cellular stress.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10628; HGNC ID: HGNC:16952; UniProt: Q9H3M7; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006472.6; Chromosome location: 1q21.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
