SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TXNDC5 (thioredoxin domain containing 5, also called ERp46) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TXNDC5 qPCR Primer Set – thioredoxin domain containing 5
Also known as: ENDOPDI, ERP46, HCC-2, HCC2, PDIA15, STRF8, UNQ364
About this gene: TXNDC5 belongs to the disulfide isomerase family of endoplasmic reticulum proteins that catalyze protein folding and thiol-disulfide interchange reactions. The TXNDC5 protein has an N-terminal endoplasmic reticulum-signal sequence, three catalytically active thioredoxin domains and a C-terminal ER-retention sequence. Its expression is induced by hypoxia and its role may be to protect hypoxic cells from apoptosis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 81567; HGNC ID: HGNC:21073; UniProt: Q8NBS9; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_030810.5; Chromosome location: 6p24.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
