SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TXN2 (thioredoxin 2, also called MTRX) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TXN2 qPCR Primer Set – thioredoxin 2
Also known as: COXPD29, MT-TRX, MTRX, TRX2, TXN
About this gene: This nuclear gene encodes a mitochondrial member of the thioredoxin family, a group of small multifunctional redox-active proteins. The TXN2 protein may play important roles in the regulation of the mitochondrial membrane potential and in protection against oxidant-induced apoptosis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 25828; HGNC ID: HGNC:17772; UniProt: Q99757; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_012473.4; Chromosome location: 22q12.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
