SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ACO2 (aconitase 2, also called Aconitase) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human ACO2 qPCR Primer Set – aconitase 2
Also known as: ACONM, HEL-S-284, ICRD, OCA8, OPA9
About this gene: The ACO2 protein belongs to the aconitase/IPM isomerase family. The ACO2 gene product is an enzyme that catalyzes the interconversion of citrate to isocitrate via cis-aconitate in the second step of the TCA cycle. The ACO2 protein is encoded in the nucleus and functions in the mitochondrion.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 50; HGNC ID: HGNC:118; UniProt: Q99798; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001098.3; Chromosome location: 22q13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
