SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TWIST1 (twist family bHLH transcription factor 1, also called bHLHa38) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TWIST1 qPCR Primer Set – twist family bHLH transcription factor 1
Also known as: ACS3, BPES2, BPES3, CRS, CRS1, CSO, SCS, SWCOS, TWIST, bHLHa38
About this gene: TWIST1 encodes a basic helix-loop-helix transcription factor that is important for embryonic development. The TWIST1 protein forms both homodimers and heterodimers that bind to DNA E box sequences and regulate the transcription of genes involved in cranial suture closure during skull development. The TWIST1 protein may also regulate neural tube closure, limb development and brown fat metabolism.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7291; HGNC ID: HGNC:12428; UniProt: Q15672; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000474.4; Chromosome location: 7p21.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
