SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TUT1 (terminal uridylyl transferase 1, U6 snRNA-specific, also called Star-PAP) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TUT1 qPCR Primer Set – terminal uridylyl transferase 1, U6 snRNA-specific
Also known as: PAPD2, RBM21, STARPAP, TENT1, TUTase, URLC6
About this gene: TUT1 encodes a nucleotidyl transferase that acts as both a terminal uridylyltransferase and a nuclear poly polymerase. The encoded enzyme specifically adds and removes nucleotides from the 3' end of small nuclear RNAs and select mRNAs and may function in controlling gene expression and cell proliferation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 64852; HGNC ID: HGNC:26184; UniProt: Q9H6E5; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_022830.3; Chromosome location: 11q12.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
