SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MYOT (myotilin) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MYOT qPCR Primer Set – myotilin
Also known as: LGMD1, LGMD1A, MFM3, TTID, TTOD
About this gene: MYOT encodes a cystoskeletal protein which plays a significant role in the stability of thin filaments during muscle contraction. The MYOT protein binds F-actin, crosslinks actin filaments, and prevents latrunculin A-induced filament disassembly. Mutations in MYOT have been linked to limb-girdle muscular dystrophy and myofibrillar myopathies.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9499; HGNC ID: HGNC:12399; UniProt: Q9UBF9; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006790.3; Chromosome location: 5q31.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
