Human ODAD4 qPCR Primer Set – outer dynein arm docking complex subunit 4

Also known as: TTC25

About this gene: ODAD4 encodes a tetratricopeptide repeat domain-containing protein that localizes to ciliary axonmenes and is involved in the docking of the outer dynein arm to cilia. Mutations in ODAD4 cause severely reduced ciliary motility and the disorder CILD35. Primary ciliary dyskinesia is often linked to recurrent respiratory infections, immotile spermatozoa, and situs inversus; an inversion in left-right body symmetry.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 83538; HGNC ID: HGNC:25280; UniProt: Q96NG3; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_031421.5; Chromosome location: 17q21.2

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
