SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TSHB (thyroid stimulating hormone subunit beta, also called TSH-B) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TSHB qPCR Primer Set – thyroid stimulating hormone subunit beta
Also known as: TSH-B, TSH-BETA
About this gene: The four human glycoprotein hormones chorionic gonadotropin, luteinizing hormone, follicle stimulating hormone, and thyroid stimulating hormone are dimers consisting of alpha and beta subunits that are associated noncovalently. The alpha subunits of these hormones are identical, however, their beta chains are unique and confer biological specificity. Thyroid stimulating hormone functions in the control of thyroid structure and metabolism.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7252; HGNC ID: HGNC:12372; UniProt: P01222; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000549.5; Chromosome location: 1p13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
