Human TSC22D1 qPCR Primer Set – TSC22 domain family member 1
Also known as: HUCEP-2, Ptg-2, TGFB1I4, TSC22
About this gene: TSC22D1 belongs to the TSC22 domain family of leucine zipper transcription factors. The TSC22D1 protein is stimulated by transforming growth factor beta, and regulates the transcription of multiple genes including C-type natriuretic peptide. The TSC22D1 protein may play a critical role in tumor suppression through the induction of cancer cell apoptosis, and a single nucleotide polymorphism in the promoter of TSC22D1 has been linked to diabetic nephropathy.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8848; HGNC ID: HGNC:16826; UniProt: Q15714; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_183422.4; Chromosome location: 13q14.11
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
