SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TRPM8 (transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily M member 8, also called LTrpC6) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TRPM8 qPCR Primer Set – transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily M member 8
Also known as: LTRPC6, LTrpC-6, TRPP8, trp-p8
About this gene: TRPM8 is predicted to enable ligand-gated calcium channel activity. It is predicted to be involved in calcium ion transmembrane transport; positive regulation of cold-induced thermogenesis; and thermoception. It is predicted to act upstream of or within calcium ion transport; intracellular calcium ion homeostasis; and response to cold.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 79054; HGNC ID: HGNC:17961; UniProt: Q7Z2W7; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_024080.5; Chromosome location: 2q37.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
