SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TRPM2 (transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily M member 2, also called TrpC7) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TRPM2 qPCR Primer Set – transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily M member 2
Also known as: EREG1, KNP3, LTRPC2, LTrpC-2, NUDT9H, NUDT9L1, TRPC7
About this gene: The TRPM2 protein forms a tetrameric cation channel that is permeable to calcium, sodium, and potassium and is regulated by free intracellular ADP-ribose. The TRPM2 protein is activated by oxidative stress and confers susceptibility to cell death.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7226; HGNC ID: HGNC:12339; UniProt: O94759; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003307.4; Chromosome location: 21q22.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
