SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TRPM1 (transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily M member 1, also called LTrpC1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TRPM1 qPCR Primer Set – transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily M member 1
Also known as: CSNB1C, LTRPC1, MLSN1
About this gene: TRPM1 belongs to the transient receptor potential melastatin subfamily of transient receptor potential ion channels. Specific mutations in TRPM1 are the cause autosomal recessive complete congenital stationary night blindness-1C. The expression of this protein is inversely correlated with melanoma aggressiveness and as such it is used as a prognostic marker for melanoma metastasis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4308; HGNC ID: HGNC:7146; UniProt: Q7Z4N2; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001252024.2; Chromosome location: 15q13.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
