About this gene: This nuclear gene encodes a mitochondrial tRNA-modifying enzyme. The TRMU protein catalyzes the 2-thiolation of uridine on the wobble positions of tRNA, tRNA, and tRNA, resulting in the formation of 5-taurinomethyl-2-thiouridine moieties. Mutations in TRMU may cause transient infantile liver failure.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
