SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TRMT1 (tRNA methyltransferase 1, also called hTRM1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TRMT1 qPCR Primer Set – tRNA methyltransferase 1
Also known as: MRT68, TRM1, hTRM1
About this gene: TRMT1 encodes a tRNA-modifying enzyme that acts as a dimethyltransferase, modifying a single guanine residue at position 26 of the tRNA. The encoded enzyme has both mono- and dimethylase activity when exogenously expressed. The C-terminal region of the TRMT1 protein has both a zinc finger motif, and an arginine/proline-rich region. Mutations in TRMT1 have been implicated in autosomal recessive intellectual disorder.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 55621; HGNC ID: HGNC:25980; UniProt: Q9NXH9; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001136035.4; Chromosome location: 19p13.13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
