Human TRIM16 qPCR Primer Set – tripartite motif containing 16
Also known as: EBBP
About this gene: The TRIM16 protein is a tripartite motif family member that contains two B box domains and a coiled-coiled region that are characteristic of the B box zinc finger protein family. While it lacks a RING domain found in other TRIM proteins, the TRIM16 protein can homodimerize or heterodimerize with other TRIM proteins and has E3 ubiquitin ligase activity. TRIM16 is also a tumor suppressor and is involved in secretory autophagy.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10626; HGNC ID: HGNC:17241; UniProt: O95361; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001348119.1; Chromosome location: 17p12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
