Human TREM2 qPCR Primer Set – triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 2

Also known as: AD17, PLOSL2, TREM-2, Trem2a, Trem2b, Trem2c

About this gene: TREM2 encodes a membrane protein that forms a receptor signaling complex with the TYRO protein tyrosine kinase binding protein. The TREM2 protein functions in immune response and may be involved in chronic inflammation by triggering the production of constitutive inflammatory cytokines. Defects in TREM2 are a cause of polycystic lipomembranous osteodysplasia with sclerosing leukoencephalopathy.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 54209; HGNC ID: HGNC:17761; UniProt: Q9NZC2; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_018965.4; Chromosome location: 6p21.1

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
