SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MED24 (mediator complex subunit 24, also called ARC100) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MED24 qPCR Primer Set – mediator complex subunit 24
Also known as: ARC100, CRSP100, CRSP4, DRIP100, MED5, THRAP4, TRAP100
About this gene: MED24 encodes a component of the mediator complex, a transcriptional coactivator complex thought to be required for the expression of almost all genes. The mediator complex is recruited by transcriptional activators or nuclear receptors to induce gene expression, possibly by interacting with RNA polymerase II and promoting the formation of a transcriptional pre-initiation complex.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9862; HGNC ID: HGNC:22963; UniProt: O75448; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_014815.4; Chromosome location: 17q21.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
