Human TRAF5 qPCR Primer Set – TNF receptor associated factor 5
Also known as: MGC:39780, RNF84
About this gene: The scaffold protein encoded by TRAF5 belongs to the tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated factor protein family and contains a meprin and TRAF homology domain, a RING-type zinc finger, and two TRAF-type zinc fingers. TRAF proteins are linked to, and mediate signal transduction from members of the TNF receptor superfamily. The TRAF5 protein is one of the components of a multiple protein complex which binds to tumor necrosis factor receptor cytoplasmic domains and mediates TNF-induced activation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7188; HGNC ID: HGNC:12035; UniProt: O00463; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001033910.3; Chromosome location: 1q32.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
