Human TPM1 qPCR Primer Set – tropomyosin 1
Also known as: C15orf13, CMD1Y, CMH3, HEL-S-265, HTM-alpha, LVNC9, TMSA
About this gene: TPM1 belongs to the tropomyosin family of highly conserved, widely distributed actin-binding proteins involved in the contractile system of striated and smooth muscles and the cytoskeleton of non-muscle cells. Tropomyosin is composed of two alpha-helical chains arranged as a coiled-coil. The TPM1 gene product is polymerized end to end along the two grooves of actin filaments and provides stability to the filaments.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7168; HGNC ID: HGNC:12010; UniProt: P09493; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001018005.2; Chromosome location: 15q22.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
