SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TPI1 (triosephosphate isomerase 1, also called TIM) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TPI1 qPCR Primer Set – triosephosphate isomerase 1
Also known as: HEL-S-49, TIM, TPI, TPID
About this gene: TPI1 encodes a enzyme, consisting of two identical proteins, which catalyzes the isomerization of glyceraldehydes 3-phosphate and dihydroxy-acetone phosphate in glycolysis and gluconeogenesis. Mutations in TPI1 are linked to triosephosphate isomerase deficiency.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7167; HGNC ID: HGNC:12009; UniProt: P60174; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000365.6; Chromosome location: 12p13.31
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
