SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TP53BP1 (tumor protein p53 binding protein 1, also called p53BP1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TP53BP1 qPCR Primer Set – tumor protein p53 binding protein 1
Also known as: 53BP1, TDRD30, p202, p53BP1
About this gene: TP53BP1 encodes a protein that functions in the DNA double-strand break repair pathway choice, promoting non-homologous end joining pathways, and limiting homologous recombination. The TP53BP1 protein plays multiple roles in the DNA damage response, including promoting checkpoint signaling following DNA damage, acting as a scaffold for recruitment of DNA damage response proteins to damaged chromatin. These roles are also important during VJ recombination, class switch recombination and at unprotected telomeres.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7158; HGNC ID: HGNC:11999; UniProt: Q12888; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001141980.3; Chromosome location: 15q15.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
