About this gene: TP53 encodes a tumor suppressor protein containing transcriptional activation, DNA binding, and oligomerization domains. The TP53 protein responds to diverse cellular stresses to regulate expression of target genes, thereby inducing cell cycle arrest, apoptosis, senescence, DNA repair, or changes in metabolism. Mutations in TP53 are linked to a variety of human cancers, including hereditary cancers such as Li-Fraumeni syndrome.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
