SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TOMM40 (translocase of outer mitochondrial membrane 40, also called p38.5) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TOMM40 qPCR Primer Set – translocase of outer mitochondrial membrane 40
Also known as: C19orf1, D19S1177E, PER-EC1, PEREC1, TOM40
About this gene: The TOMM40 protein is localized in the outer membrane of the mitochondria. The TOMM40 gene product is the channel-forming subunit of the translocase of the mitochondrial outer membrane complex that is essential for import of protein precursors into mitochondria.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10452; HGNC ID: HGNC:18001; UniProt: O96008; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001128917.2; Chromosome location: 19q13.32
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
