SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TOMM34 (translocase of outer mitochondrial membrane 34, also called hTom34) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TOMM34 qPCR Primer Set – translocase of outer mitochondrial membrane 34
Also known as: HTOM34P, TOM34, URCC3
About this gene: The TOMM34 protein is involved in the import of precursor proteins into mitochondria. The TOMM34 protein has a chaperone-like activity, binding the mature portion of unfolded proteins and aiding their import into mitochondria. This protein, which is found in the cytoplasm and sometimes linked to the outer mitochondrial membrane, has a weak ATPase activity and contains 6 TPR repeats.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10953; HGNC ID: HGNC:15746; UniProt: Q15785; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006809.5; Chromosome location: 20q13.12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
