SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human KMT2D (lysine methyltransferase 2D) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human KMT2D qPCR Primer Set – lysine methyltransferase 2D
Also known as: AAD10, ALR, BCAHH, CAGL114, KABUK1, KMS, MLL2, MLL4, TNRC21
About this gene: The KMT2D protein is a histone methyltransferase that methylates the Lys-4 position of histone H3. Mutations in KMT2D have been shown to be a cause of Kabuki syndrome.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8085; HGNC ID: HGNC:7133; UniProt: O14686; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003482.4; Chromosome location: 12q13.12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
