SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MED12 (mediator complex subunit 12, also called ARC240) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MED12 qPCR Primer Set – mediator complex subunit 12
Also known as: ARC240, CAGH45, FGS1, HDKR, HOPA, Kto, MED12S, OHDOX, OKS, OPA1, TNRC11, TRAP230
About this gene: The initiation of transcription is controlled in part by a large protein assembly known as the preinitiation complex. A component of this preinitiation complex is a 1.2 MDa protein aggregate called Mediator. This Mediator component binds with a CDK8 subcomplex which contains the protein encoded by MED12, mediator complex subunit 12, along with MED13, CDK8 kinase.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9968; HGNC ID: HGNC:11957; UniProt: Q93074; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005120.3; Chromosome location: Xq13.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
