SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TNP2 (transition protein 2, also called TP2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TNP2 qPCR Primer Set – transition protein 2
Also known as: TP2
About this gene: TNP2 is predicted to enable zinc ion binding activity. It is predicted to be involved in multiple processes, including penetration of zona pellucida; positive regulation of protein processing; and sperm DNA condensation. It is predicted to act upstream of or within binding activity of sperm to zona pellucida and flagellated sperm motility.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7142; HGNC ID: HGNC:11952; UniProt: Q05952; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005425.5; Chromosome location: 16p13.13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
