Human TNNI3 qPCR Primer Set – troponin I3, cardiac type
Also known as: CMD1FF, CMD2A, CMH7, RCM1, TNNC1, cTnI
About this gene: Troponin I, along with troponin T and troponin C, is one of 3 subunits that form the troponin complex of the thin filaments of striated muscle. TnI is the inhibitory subunit; blocking actin-myosin interactions and thereby mediating striated muscle relaxation. The TnI subfamily contains three genes: TnI-skeletal-fast-twitch, TnI-skeletal-slow-twitch, and TnI-cardiac.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7137; HGNC ID: HGNC:11947; UniProt: P19429; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000363.5; Chromosome location: 19q13.42
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
