Human TNNC2 qPCR Primer Set – troponin C2, fast skeletal type
Also known as: CFAP85, CMYO15, CMYP15, FAP85, MYONRI
About this gene: Troponin, a key protein complex in the regulation of striated muscle contraction, is composed of 3 subunits. The Tn-I subunit inhibits actomyosin ATPase, the Tn-T subunit binds tropomyosin and Tn-C, while the Tn-C subunit binds calcium and overcomes the inhibitory action of the troponin complex on actin filaments. The TNNC2 protein is the Tn-C subunit.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7125; HGNC ID: HGNC:11944; UniProt: P02585; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003279.3; Chromosome location: 20q13.12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
