Human TNFRSF18 qPCR Primer Set – TNF receptor superfamily member 18
Also known as: AITR, CD357, ENERGEN, GITR, GITR-D
About this gene: TNFRSF18 belongs to the TNF-receptor superfamily. The encoded receptor is reported to have increased expression upon T-cell activation, and it is believed to play a key role in dominant immunological self-tolerance maintained by CD25CD4 regulatory T cells. Knockout studies in mice also suggest the role of this receptor is in the regulation of CD3-driven T-cell activation and programmed cell death.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8784; HGNC ID: HGNC:11914; UniProt: Q9Y5U5; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004195.3; Chromosome location: 1p36.33
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
