Human TNFAIP6 qPCR Primer Set – TNF alpha induced protein 6
Also known as: TSG-6, TSG6
About this gene: The TNFAIP6 protein is a secretory protein that contains a hyaluronan-binding domain, and thus belongs to the hyaluronan-binding protein family. The hyaluronan-binding domain is known to be involved in extracellular matrix stability and cell migration. The TNFAIP6 protein is reported to form a stable complex with inter-alpha-inhibitor, and thus enhance the serine protease inhibitory activity of I alpha I, which is important in the protease network linked to inflammation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7130; HGNC ID: HGNC:11898; UniProt: P98066; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_007115.4; Chromosome location: 2q23.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
