SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TMPRSS2 (transmembrane serine protease 2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TMPRSS2 qPCR Primer Set – transmembrane serine protease 2
Also known as: PRSS10
About this gene: TMPRSS2 encodes a protein that belongs to the serine protease family. The TMPRSS2 protein contains a type II transmembrane domain, a receptor class A domain, a scavenger receptor cysteine-rich domain and a protease domain. Serine proteases are known to be involved in many physiological and pathological processes.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7113; HGNC ID: HGNC:11876; UniProt: O15393; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005656.4; Chromosome location: 21q22.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
