SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TMPO (thymopoietin) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TMPO qPCR Primer Set – thymopoietin
Also known as: CMD1T, LAP2, LEMD4, PRO0868, TP
About this gene: Through alternative splicing, TMPO encodes multiple distinct LEM domain containing protein isoforms. LEM domain proteins include inner nuclear membrane and intranuclear proteins, and are involved in a variety of cellular functions including gene expression, chromatin organization, and replication and cell cycle control. The encoded alpha isoform is broadly diffuse in the nucleus and contains a lamin binding domain, while the beta and gamma isoforms are localized to the nuclear membrane and contain an HDAC3 interaction domain.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7112; HGNC ID: HGNC:11875; UniProt: P42166; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001032283.3; Chromosome location: 12q23.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
