SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TMOD1 (tropomodulin 1, also called E-Tmod) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TMOD1 qPCR Primer Set – tropomodulin 1
Also known as: D9S57E, ETMOD, TMOD
About this gene: TMOD1 belongs to the tropomodulin family. The TMOD1 protein is an actin-capping protein that regulates tropomyosin by binding to its N-terminus, inhibiting depolymerization and elongation of the pointed end of actin filaments and thereby influencing the structure of the erythrocyte membrane skeleton.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7111; HGNC ID: HGNC:11871; UniProt: P28289; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003275.4; Chromosome location: 9q22.33
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
