SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ACLY (ATP citrate lyase, also called ACL) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human ACLY qPCR Primer Set – ATP citrate lyase
Also known as: ACL, ATPCL, CLATP
About this gene: ATP citrate lyase is the primary enzyme responsible for the synthesis of cytosolic acetyl-CoA in many tissues. The enzyme is a tetramer of apparently identical subunits. The ACLY gene product catalyzes the formation of acetyl-CoA and oxaloacetate from citrate and CoA with a concomitant hydrolysis of ATP to ADP and phosphate.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 47; HGNC ID: HGNC:115; UniProt: P53396; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001096.3; Chromosome location: 17q21.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
