About this gene: PMEPA1 encodes a transmembrane protein that contains a Smad interacting motif. Expression of PMEPA1 is induced by androgens and transforming growth factor beta, and the PMEPA1 protein suppresses the androgen receptor and transforming growth factor beta signaling pathways though interactions with Smad proteins. Overexpression of PMEPA1 may play a role in multiple types of cancer.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
