SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TMEM87A (transmembrane protein 87A, also called Elkin1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TMEM87A qPCR Primer Set – transmembrane protein 87A
Also known as: ELKIN1, GOLPHCAT
About this gene: TMEM87A enables voltage-gated monoatomic anion channel activity. It is involved in cellular response to mechanical stimulus; detection of mechanical stimulus involved in sensory perception of touch; and intracellular pH reduction. It acts upstream of or within retrograde transport, endosome to Golgi.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 25963; HGNC ID: HGNC:24522; UniProt: Q8NBN3; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_015497.5; Chromosome location: 15q15.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
