SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TMEM38A (transmembrane protein 38A, also called TRICA) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TMEM38A qPCR Primer Set – transmembrane protein 38A
Also known as: TRIC-A, TRICA
About this gene: TMEM38A is predicted to enable potassium channel activity. It is predicted to be involved in potassium ion transmembrane transport; regulation of release of sequestered calcium ion into cytosol; and release of sequestered calcium ion into cytosol by sarcoplasmic reticulum. It is predicted to act upstream of or within multiple processes, including cellular response to caffeine; endoplasmic reticulum organization; and regulation of cardiac muscle contraction by regulation of the release of sequestered calcium ion.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 79041; HGNC ID: HGNC:28462; UniProt: Q9H6F2; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_024074.4; Chromosome location: 19p13.11
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
