Human CEMIP2 qPCR Primer Set – cell migration inducing hyaluronidase 2
Also known as: TMEM2
About this gene: CEMIP2 encodes a type II transmembrane protein that belongs to the interferon-induced transmembrane protein superfamily. The CEMIP2 protein acts as a cell surface hyaluronidase that cleaves extracellular high molecular weight hyaluronan into intermediate size fragments before internalization and degradation in the lysosome. The CEMIP2 gene product also has an interferon-mediated antiviral function in humans through activation of the JAK STAT signaling pathway.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 23670; HGNC ID: HGNC:11869; UniProt: Q9UHN6; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_013390.3; Chromosome location: 9q21.13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
