SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TLK2 (tousled like kinase 2, also called HsHPK) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TLK2 qPCR Primer Set – tousled like kinase 2
Also known as: HsHPK, MRD57, PKU-ALPHA
About this gene: TLK2 encodes a nuclear serine/threonine kinase that was first identified in Arabidopsis. The TLK2 protein is believed to function in the regulation of chromatin assembly in the S phase of the cell cycle by regulating the levels of a histone H3/H4 chaperone. The TLK2 protein is linked to double-strand break repair of DNA damage caused by radiation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 11011; HGNC ID: HGNC:11842; UniProt: Q86UE8; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006852.6; Chromosome location: 17q23.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
