SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TKTL1 (transketolase like 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TKTL1 qPCR Primer Set – transketolase like 1
Also known as: TKR, TKT2
About this gene: The TKTL1 protein is a transketolase that acts as a homodimer and catalyzes the conversion of sedoheptulose 7-phosphate and D-glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate to D-ribose 5-phosphate and D-xylulose 5-phosphate. This reaction links the pentose phosphate pathway with the glycolytic pathway. Variations in TKTL1 may be the cause of Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8277; HGNC ID: HGNC:11835; UniProt: P51854; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_012253.4; Chromosome location: Xq28
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
