SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TK1 (thymidine kinase 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TK1 qPCR Primer Set – thymidine kinase 1
About this gene: The TK1 protein is a cytosolic enzyme that catalyzes the addition of a gamma-phosphate group to thymidine. This creates dTMP and is the first step in the biosynthesis of dTTP, which is one component required for DNA replication. The encoded protein, whose levels fluctuate depending on the cell cycle stage, can act as a low activity dimer or a high activity tetramer.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7083; HGNC ID: HGNC:11830; UniProt: P04183; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003258.5; Chromosome location: 17q25.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
