Human TJP2 qPCR Primer Set – tight junction protein 2
Also known as: C9DUPq21.11, DFNA51, DUP9q21.11, FHCA1, PFIC4, X104, ZO2
About this gene: TJP2 encodes a zonula occluden that belongs to the membrane-associated guanylate kinase homolog family. The TJP2 protein acts as a component of the tight junction barrier in epithelial and endothelial cells and is necessary for proper assembly of tight junctions. Mutations in TJP2 have been identified in patients with hypercholanemia, and genomic duplication of a 270 kb region including TJP2 causes autosomal dominant deafness-51.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9414; HGNC ID: HGNC:11828; UniProt: Q9UDY2; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004817.4; Chromosome location: 9q21.11
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
